Rest Is a Muscle Worth Developing

Rest is a muscle worth developing. Like cardiovascular endurance, rest relies on several muscles working together, and their combined effort is what makes true rest possible.

To truly rest and let go, we need to reduce anxiety, strengthen our ability to be present, and deepen our sense of safety and worthiness. Another essential foundation for rest is changing the volume of the inner critical voice — and the nature of the internal dialogue we have with it.

The work we do together extends beyond our sessions — it carries into your time off as well. It supports you so that in the space between our meetings, the value of our work continues to grow and fully reveal itself.

The goal is that by the end of our journey together, you'll have the ease to rest and simply be — and that ease will be yours, internalized within you, truly your own.

Here's to rest, and to a nourishing return to routine.
